Oak Core Media Service Terms

Oak Core Media provides website design and development services for local businesses. The exact scope of each project is determined by the package selected and any additional services agreed to in writing before work begins.

The Starter Website package is a $600 one-time payment. Work begins after the project has been accepted, payment has been received, and all required project materials have been provided.

The Full Website Build requires a $600 initial deposit to begin the project. The remaining $600 balance is due after client review and approval and before the completed website is launched or transferred to the client.

The advertised 5-day website build timeline begins only after:

• Oak Core Media has accepted the project;
• the required initial payment has been received; and
• all materials required to complete the website have been received, including applicable photos, logo files, business information, website copy/content, service information, and other requested materials.

Delays in receiving client materials, feedback, approvals, account access, or other requested information may extend the completion date.

The project includes up to two rounds of reasonable revisions within the original scope of the package purchased. Requests that materially change the original project scope, add pages, add functionality, or require substantial redesign may require an additional fee. Any additional charges will be communicated and approved before the additional work begins.

Payments are not automatically refundable simply because a client changes their mind after work has begun.

For the Starter Website package, the $600 payment becomes non-refundable once Oak Core Media begins work on the project.

For the Full Website Build, the initial $600 deposit becomes non-refundable once work begins. The remaining $600 balance is due before launch or transfer of the completed website.

If a project is cancelled by the client before work begins, Oak Core Media may refund the payment, less any non-refundable third-party costs or expenses already incurred specifically for the project. Once work has begun, the applicable Starter Website payment or Full Website Build deposit is non-refundable.

If Oak Core Media is unable to provide the agreed services, Oak Core Media will work with the client to determine an appropriate resolution, which may include a partial or full refund depending on the work already completed.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, content, images, logos, credentials, approvals, and other materials needed to complete their project. Clients confirm that they have the necessary rights or permissions to use any materials they provide to Oak Core Media.

Unless specifically included in the agreed package, third-party expenses such as domain registration, website hosting, premium software, paid plugins, stock photography, email services, or other external services are the client's responsibility.

Oak Core Media will disclose any required additional third-party cost before purchasing or activating it on the client's behalf.

Clients will have an opportunity to review their website before launch. Once the client approves the completed project and any outstanding balance has been paid, Oak Core Media may proceed with launch or transfer.

Upon receipt of all amounts due, the client receives ownership of the final website deliverables created specifically for their project, excluding third-party software, licensed assets, platform technology, templates, tools, or other materials subject to separate licenses.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Oak Core Media may display the completed website, business name, and publicly available screenshots of the project in its portfolio and marketing materials as examples of its work.
